Arrival Day & Airport Transfer​

You’ll be staying at WakeUp! which consistently wins awards for being the best place to stay in Australia. Meet up with other people from the tour or just chill in your room and try to get rid of that jet lag. You have a big week ahead.

Landing a few days before? No worries! Your airport pickup is included and can be arranged for any time on any day before the tour. Need extra nights accommodation sorted? You can book these at checkout. Get in touch – we’ve got you.

Meet the Team & Discover the City

Today’s the day you’ll meet your guide and your new travel family, how exciting! After getting to know each other we’ll get your Bank Account, Sim Card and Tax File Number organised so you can explore stress-free.

On our city walking tour we’ll show you why Sydney is such an iconic and charming city, and why travellers absolutely love it. Your Instagram will be the envy of all your friends back home by the evening!

We’ll end our first day together with a Welcome Dinner at one of Sydney’s most loved venues.

Work & Travel Advice Followed by Culture and Cocktails

This morning we’re going to be adulting (in the best way) and thinking about what’s next on your Australian adventure. Are you wanting to find some farmwork? Is the East Coast on your Australia bucket list? You’ll have two presentations to help you, one on employment, one on travel.

By the end of the morning your brain will be whirring with options. But you’re not alone! We’ve helped thousands of travellers so we have all the tips, tricks and insider advice to help you too.

We’ll be spending the afternoon seeing the hidden gems of Sydney. First we’ll learn about the world’s oldest continuous civilisation, with an Aboriginal Cultural Tour.

And then it’s on to our own private cocktail class. We may be backpackers, but that doesn’t mean we can only drink goon. After a full day, we’ll show you where to get the best food in the city.

Day 4

Dolphins & White Sands

Rise and shine, we’re going on a road trip of a lifetime. You’ll see some breathtaking lookouts and coastline scenery as we drive along the Sea Cliff Bridge to our destination, Jervis Bay, which is famous for a couple of things. 

Firstly, dolphins! Yes that’s right, you’ll be spending the morning on a boat watching these majestic creatures jump alongside you, all whilst you take in the beauty of the bay area.

Secondly, Jervis Bay is also famous for having the whitest sand in the world, so guess what you’re doing in the afternoon? That’s right, you’ll be spending some time on it!

Day 5

Road Trippin’ & Surfing!

It’s been wow up to now, but today is all about you having an Australian cultural experience.

We’ll suit up for a stunning morning surf at the beautiful Seven Mile Beach, home to Surf Camp Australia. Catching that first wave is the best feeling and you’ll remember it forever. At breakfast you’ll have never surfed, but at lunch you’ll sunkissed with salt water in your hair, arguing about who was the best in the water.

After Surf Camp we have a surprise up our sleeve before roadtrippin’ back to the big smoke of Sydney.

Australia Planning and Farewells

Today’s the day to plan your time in Australia! With the information still fresh in your mind from the presentations on Day 3, you’ll be sitting down with an expert for a one to one meeting.

Our Community Team will answer any and every question, book your amazing travel all across Australia or share tips to find farm/hospitality/anything-you-want work.

You’re guaranteed to end the day with a plan and heaps of excitement for your adventure ahead.

You’ll be wanting to swap stories and plans with the group, so we’re heading out for a final farewell meal all together. This might be the end of the tour, but it’s not the end of the adventure! We’re here for you throughout your time in Australia and we can’t wait to make more memories with you.

Your time with the group doesn’t have to be over just yet, in fact around 90% of our groups stay together for at least another week by adding on our incredible road trip option.

This is scheduled to start after your tour. You can add this on at the Extras page at checkout or you can book it at a later date. Don’t worry if you don’t know now, you can add this on during the week but we do at least recommend keeping the week after the tour free in case you do want to join.
