Make Memories Fund
Making Memories, Making a Difference

What is the Make Memories Fund?
At Welcome to Travel, we want to be more than just a tour company. We want people to come out of their experience with us a better person. We also want to become better people and a better business.
We want to have a positive impact on you, but also on everything and everyone around us.
On tour we spread awareness and educate on how we can respect land and sea. We also showcase first nations culture as well as highlight social issues. The Make Memories fund is made up of 4 causes, each representing one of those 4 things.
Not only are we highlighting these things on tour, each booking that you make, we make a donation to the Make Memories Fund. This fund is split between the 4 causes.
On top of this, there are other opportunities throughout the year to donate or get involved in supporting these and other causes.

The Causes We Support
Below are the 4 funds that make up the Make Memories Fund. Let us tell you a little bit more about them.
Land
Founded in 2019, the Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation is dedicated to preserving local koalas from habitat loss due to development.
Our goal is to establish koala wildlife corridors, linking fragmented habitats with food trees. This effort guides koalas away from urban threats and restores their natural environment.
We rely on grants, fundraisers, and memberships to fund tree planting and habitat restoration. Every dollar makes a direct impact.
Join us in protecting koalas and share our mission to safeguard these iconic animals for future generations.
Ocean
The Foundation is committed to the protection of Phillip Island's wildlife.
The Penguin Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that raises funds to protect and enhance Phillip Island’s natural environment through research, conservation and education programs carried out by Phillip Island Nature Parks. You are directly contributing to important research programs as well as wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. Phillip Island (Millowl) supports significant native vegetation communities and wildlife populations as well as international migratory bird species within its woodland, wetland and coastal environments. This remarkable biodiversity and quality of ecosystems means Phillip Island is one of Victoria’s truly special places and we are dedicated to funding the conservation of these important natural values for both current and future generations.
First Nations Culture
Creating change for future generations.
Children’s Ground is led by First Nations communities who are creating a different future for the next generation of children.
We believe that every child born today should experience a lifetime of opportunity and grow up strong in their identity and culture, free from injustice and economic poverty. If all children can experience this basic right, then whole communities will be happy, healthy and safe places. Children’s Ground partners with entire communities over a 25-year period to make this a reality.
Social Impact
Providing support and basic human needs to the marginalised and disenfranchised members of society.
WILL2LIVE has been in operation since 2012. We are a grassroots organisation providing over 3000 meals each week to 4 different locations. We help homeless people living in Social Housing, struggling families, and single parents. We are just about to open a new centre which will offer employment opportunities for those wanting to get back into the workforce. WILL2LIVE relies on donations from generous members of the public to operate.
