Uluru

Day 9

You can’t be in Uluru and not witness at least one sunrise! Together we will wake up and soak up the first rays of the day, watching the sunlight play with the landscape and the rock formations changing colour throughout the morning.

We’ll then get closer to the natural wonder on a guided 10km Uluru base walk (shorter walks available), allowing you to connect with the rock, it’s powerful presence and learn more about its stories. Relax beside tranquil waterholes, take a break under a magnificent Sheoak tree and peer into hidden caves (can it get any better than this?!)

After lunch, we’ll visit the Culture Centre to deepen your understanding of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. You can learn about Anangu culture and the park’s natural environment through exhibits and free presentations with Anangu and park rangers. Return to camp for some free time. Why not, relax by the pool or enjoy some of the activities at Ayers Rock Resort, such as a didgeridoo performance, a guided garden walk or discovering artefacts at the museum.

As the tour ends tomorrow, don’t forget to bring your tissues. We’ll share a final farewell dinner and reminisce on the best 10 days of your life. You’ve gone out of your comfort zone, you’ve seen and experienced new things, you’ve got amazing memories but most importantly, you’ve now got friends for life!
