WHERE YOU'LL GO

Leaving Sydney you will head west to the Blue Mountains where you will stay in Katoomba. From here there are several amazing hikes. After two nights you will then head back to the coast and go north to Port Stephens.

Road Trippin', Hikes and Sunsets

Day 1

What time is it? Road trip time! We’ll give you the details for your car pickup and an advised itinerary and you and the crew are on your way! As long as you have a driving licence* you’re able to drive.

The Blue Mountains National Park is just 1.5 hours away and we will give you so many recommendations for walks when you get there.
Not only that but we have a recommendation for the best sunset stop in the whole place. ✌️

*Your Driving license must say ‘Driving License’ in English. If it doesn’t please bring an International License or a certified translation of your license.

Explore the Blue Mountains Area

Day 2

There are so many different areas in the Blue Mountains – incredible view points, walk behind waterfalls, see the iconic Three Sisters…it is up to you what you want to do.

You’re in a group but you definitely have options to break off into smaller groups. You have the choice of so many walking options around the Blue Mountains, a trip to the Jenolan Caves or the opportunity to go abseiling/rock climbing*

*Abseiling/Rock Climbing is at an extra cost and can be organised with our team in Sydney.

Mountain Sunrise & Beach Time

Day 3

Travelling is about living for the moment and seizing the day. Nothing says that like SUNRISE! We’ve got the best spot for you to see the daybreak.

Following that you’ll be saying goodbye to the mountain landscape and this part of the world, it’s time to head to the incredible Port Stephens.

Once there you can relax in the hostel pool or at the beach. Don’t forget to take a bodyboard from the hostel, they’re free!

Explore Beautiful Beaches

Day 4

This place is a hidden gem that’s not so well known by your every day backpacker. It has world class beaches, friendly locals and great vibes.

You can top up the tan or try something new with sea kayaking, paddleboarding and sandboarding all being options.

When your friends see your Instagram they’ll be asking how come they hadn’t heard of this amazing place!

Cruise the Coast to Sydney

Day 5
This can be as relaxed as you want it to be. You might fit in some activities you missed out the day before or do some beach hopping on the way back.

Then it’s time to drive back to Sydney to reminisce about the best two weeks ever. You and your crew might even want to join the bar crawl again and meet this week’s Welcome to Sydney group for one last big Sydney night as a family.
