How It Works
Step 1

Below on the booking widget and make sure you select “buy a campervan”. In Australia, currently they only operate in Sydney.
Step 2
Scroll through all the options and select the camper that you like.
Step 3
Make a booking to speak to the Trek team in person and check out the available campers in your category.
You can pay a fully refundable and obligation-free deposit (recommended) that secures a vehicle, or make a “risky” free appointment. If you pay the deposit and aren’t buying, that’s fine! Your deposit will be refunded to you.

The below websites are great. If you are looking for a local dealer, it’s best to just Google for a car dealer in your area. Just check their reviews first!
- Gumtree cars – Australia’s biggest online marketplace, but for cars only. These are mainly private sellers.
- Facebook Marketplace – doesn’t need an explanation. Mainly private sellers, but some dealers will list on here too.
- Carsales – Australia’s go-to digital auto marketplace. Both private sellers and dealers, with extensive filter options so you can find your dream car in no time.
- Cars24 – A completely online marketplace with second hand cars delivered to your front door.
- Backpackers Australia Car Sales Facebook Group – This is a backpackers for backpackers kinda group, so you will often see cars for sale including sleeping gear and kitchen appliances etc.
Don’t forget the admin:
This is the exciting part over and the boring part starting: paperwork. You will need to take care of a few things before you can take your new ride for a spin.
