Our Welcome Tours Are Changing (And Here’s Why)

🎉 What’s New with Our Welcome Tours?

We’ve spent the past 7 years welcoming thousands of travellers to Australia. And we’ve learned a lot. So from September, our tours are getting a refresh: still unforgettable, but now smarter, more affordable, and more flexible.

We’re moving from 8 days to 6 days – so you still get everything that matters, but with more time (and budget) to explore on your terms.

💥 What You’ll Still Get (That We’ll Never Change)

The magic is still here:

🦘 Kangaroo spotting in Melbourne
🐬 Dolphin cruising in Sydney
🏄‍♂️ Surf lessons and wipeouts
📸 A chance to explore outside of the city
👯‍♀️ A group of friends from day one
📱 SIM, Tax File Number, bank account, sorted
💼 Access to our Welcome to Jobs hub
🎓 Employment help  and real support beyond the tour

Basically: all the admin + all the memories in 6 days. The perfect introduction to Australia.

💡 Why We’re Making the Change

Welcome to Melbourne Community Tour
Look at our amazing community
1. The connection happens early.

By Day 3, the start of the tour awkwardness is gone. You’ve already got your people locked in. That’s why we decided to shorten our tour days to start on Sunday and finish on Fridays. Shortening the tour doesn’t shorten the bond, in fact it gives you more quality time on the weekend to explore together. Use the extra time after the tour to explore the city at your own pace, hitting up secret bars, beach hopping, or even planning your East Coast adventure together!

2. You want freedom.

Once the important stuff is done, you’ll want room to explore.  After 6 days of new mates, new places and new memories, you’ll be ready to fly solo. Or of course, with the new mates you’ve made on tour.  We also want to give you more freedom on what you do next. So we’ve given you a few days to think between our insightful work and travel presentations on Day 3 and your dedicated meeting with our Community Team on Day 6; so you can decide what you want to chat about, what questions you want to ask and what you want to do next. All with our help and guidance.

We’ll still be there every step of the way, whether that’s suggesting the best night out in the city or planning an epic East Coast trip for you. You have the freedom to choose your next move, and explore Australia your way.

3. Budgets are real.

Travel shouldn’t have to feel like a luxury, but let’s talk about real life for a second. We know the cost of living is on everyone’s mind, so we’re making our tour cheaper – without cutting the stuff that actually matters. That way, you’ve got more cash for those big “wow” moments, local eats, and spontaneous decisions that become core memories.

🎒 What Happens After the Tour?

After your first week in Australia, you’ll walk away with your essentials sorted, a head full of ideas, and a group of people who feel like your travel family. Plus, you’ll have  access to all our exclusive work and travel resources long after the tour ends. We’re here for your whole time in Australia, whether that’s 3 weeks or 3 years.

You’ll be ready to explore, find work, plan the East Coast… or just grab a coffee with someone you met on Day 1.

❓What happens if I’m already booked on?

We’ll be in touch if your Welcome Tour is changing. Don’t worry you’ll still get all the amazing inclusion that matter, plus dedicated work help and admin set up. But with more freedom to explore the city and all the support that you need. It’s everything you love about our tour, just more compact.

📍Ready to Start?

Tours are already filling fast. Whether it’s Sydney’s beaches or Melbourne’s laneways calling you. Your Australian adventure starts here.
