Here are our favourite spots to skydive on Australia’s East Coast.
1️⃣ Mission Beach
This is the only location in Australia you’re guaranteed to land on an actual beach – it doesn’t get any cooler than that! Plus, you’ll have views over the Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef during your freefall – this is the dream, and you’ll be living it.

2️⃣ Airlie Beach
With views over the 74 Whitsundays Island and Whitehaven Beach (aka the number one beach in Australia) the views over Airlie are hard to beat. If you’re lucky you’ll see whales during migration season – all while floating through the sky. Magic.
3️⃣ Cairns
If you don’t quite have time to head down the road to Mission Beach, a skydive over Cairns is the next best thing. You’ll still see the stunning Great Barrier Reef, views over the lush rainforests and the cityscape of Cairns from 15,000 feet. And you can do that all in a few hours – now that’s how to start the day.

Can this city get any more iconic? It can with a skydive. Okay… you won’t be skydiving over the harbour but you’ll still get amazing views over Woolongong and the coast. 5️⃣ Melbourne
You only have to hop to the beach suburb of St Kilda for a skydive in Melbourne. During your freefall you’ll have views over Melbourne’s skyline (see if you can spot the MCG), St Kilda’s beach and the rides of Luna Park. And you’ll be landing with incredible views over the beach in the heart of St Kilda.
